Does it work offline?
Viewing, organizing and searching everything you've saved works fully offline. Scanning a new receipt uses a secure AI service for accuracy, so it needs a connection — with a basic on-device fallback when you're offline.
Do I need an account?
No. You don't need to sign up for anything to use Receipt Wallet. It works right out of the box.
How much does it cost?
The core app is completely free. We will introduce an optional premium tier later for cloud backup and advanced features, but we promise never to move free features behind a paywall.
So my receipts go to the cloud?
Only the photo of a receipt you scan: it's sent to a third-party AI service (Google) that reads it and returns the details, and may process it under its own terms. We don't store it ourselves, there's no account tying it to you, and your saved collection lives on your device.
Are there ads?
The free app is ad-supported; Premium removes them. They're standard mobile ads and never see your receipts or what you bought — we don't share your receipt data with advertisers.
Is it available in Indonesia?
Yes! The app fully supports both English and Bahasa Indonesia.
